  9. This word list is considered both complete and accurate.

  11. This is the Polish dictionary for Aspell.  It requires Aspell 
  12. version 0.60 or better.

  14. If Aspell is installed and aspell and prezip-bin are all
  15. in the path first do a:
  16.  
  17.   ./configure
  18.  
  19. Which should output something like:
  20.  
  21.   Finding Dictionary file location ... /usr/local/lib/aspell
  22.   Finding Data file location ... /usr/local/share/aspell
  23.  
  24. if it did not something likely went wrong.
  25.  
  26. After that build the package with:
  27.   make
  28. and then install it with
  29.   make install
  30.  
  31. If any of the above mentioned programs are not in your path than the
  32. variables, ASPELL and/or PREZIP need to be set to the
  33. commands (with path) to run the utilities.  These variables may be set
  34. in the environment before configure is run or specified at the command
  35. line using the following syntax
  36.   ./configure --vars VAR1=VAL1 ...
  37. Other useful variables configure recognizes are ASPELL_PARMS, and DESTDIR.

  39. To clean up after the build:
  40.   make clean
  41.  
  42. To uninstall the files:
  43.   make uninstall

  45. After the dictionaries are installed you can use the main one (pl) by
  46. setting the LANG environmental variable to pl or running Aspell
  47. with "--lang=pl".  You may also chose the dictionary directly
  48. with the "-d" or "--master" option of Aspell.  You can chose from any of
  49. the following dictionaries:
  50.   pl (polish)
  51. Whereas the names in parentheses are alternate names for the
  52. dictionary preceding the parentheses.

  54. The individual word lists have an extension of ".cwl" and are
  55. compressed to save space.  To uncompress a word list use 
  56. "preunzip BASE.cwl" which will uncompress it and rename the file 
  57. to "BASE.wl".  To dump a compressed word list to standard output use
  58. "precat BASE.cwl".  To uncompress all word lists in the current
  59. directory use "preunzip *.cwl".  For more help on "preunzip" use
  60. "preunzip --help".
